Paul N. Siegel is the fourth generation of his family to reside in Walterboro, South Carolina and continues a family tradition of public service and professional excellence. His extensive trial experience includes the securing of the largest jury verdict in the history of Colleton County, South Carolina. Mr. Siegel is well known, statewide, as a community leader and seasoned principled advocate.

He has practiced law in Colleton County, South Carolina since 1977. His first association was with Hon. William T. Howell, Hon. Gerald C. Smoak Sr. and Lee R. Moody. William T. Howell left the firm to become Circuit Court Judge, Judge of the South Carolina Court of Appeals and ultimately Chief Judge of the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Gerald C. Smoak Sr. was also elected to the Circuit Court and served until his retirement. Hon. Perry M. Buckner joined the firm in 1982 and was elected to succeed Gerald C. Smoak Sr. and serves as resident Judge of the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit. Mr. Siegel also practiced in partnership with Harriett A. Bonds. Since Mrs. Bonds’ retirement in 2002, Mr. Siegel continues to practice as a sole practitioner.
